Had my abdominal ultrasound today and.... my gallbladder is full of stones. Not good... I am hoping to hold off on surgery until September but I am pretty sure that isn't going to happen. I have an appointment with my doctor next week to talk about it. So it seems like so many banders have had gallbladder problems... add me to the ranks!
Boo... o well... that thing has to weigh at least a few ounces right?

Bummer! I'm so sorry.
I can't imagine waiting 3 months to have it taken out. The attacks I had were more painful than childbirth! It was 4 weeks between my first attack and when I had it removed and that was too long, imho.

I had the worst gallbladder attack two days before my wedding, and because I didn't know what it was (I'd been suffering attacks for 15+ years), I was sure they were going to tell me I was dying of cancer. I'm not joking. Anyhow, I was able to put it off for a few months...and I really only had one more major attack. Hang in there! I totally know what you are going through!
So sorry about that but at least it is not a probelm wiht the badn!!! Hope you get to hold off :-(
I wanted to kiss my surgeon right on the lips after my lap chole... I felt sooooooooooooo much better. You'll do great.
I go for my ultrasound in July...where is the pain? Mine is on the right under my breast.
