Exercise is not my strong point


I haven't really been doing much of it. For the first 5 months post op I worked out a lot. I would exercise for at least an hour five days a week. I did high impact things like step aerobics and kettle bell. Now... nothing. I don't know what happened but I just didn't like giving up the time it takes.


I am now trying to motivate myself to get back at. I know it is good for me... I know I lose weight faster. I know that sitting on the couch is doing me no good. But I still don't want to exercise.


So.. I decided I am going to find something I enjoy doing and do it. First on my list to try is pole dancing. It looks like fun and involves a pole... what is not to love. I am looking for a class that works with my work schedule. I also want to take the Bolly fit, bollywood dance class.


My current plan is to work out twice a week to start with... I can do that right?!

That picture is hilarious....it is a great idea to find ways to move that you like. I can only swim or do deep aqua atm and I don't love it!!! Pole dancing is supposed to be amazing for your strength etc...good luck

Bahahaha! That picture cracks me up and it reminds me of the strip pole dancing "how-to" book I got in my stocking stuffer this past Christmas!

I have a couple of girlfriends who did that. They said they never laughed so hard in their lives. And they were so proud of the "pole kisses" (the bruises you get on your legs from swinging around the pole). I totally would have done it if, at the time, I wasn't certain I would rip the pole down. I think it sounds like a GREAT plan! Don't forget to rub your thong-clad ass against the pole, like in the picture!

ok.. maybe I am naive, but when I first saw the picture I thought it was some ass flossing ritual.. now I see it is pole dancing.. glad I read your post.. cause it had me worried at firs.. let us know how that goes.. it is kind of intriguing..

Ouch. That pole up the butt looks painful lol. I hear pole dancing is great exercise although it can turn your breasts to plastic.

O M G! I want to pole dance! I actually want a pole in our house! You are like the naughty librarian!
